Artist Statement

Sculpture captures the moment and freezes it in bronze forever.  I love to sculpt the baby's sweetness, catch the impish grin of a boy teasing his sister, the shy first grader's wonderful new braided hair.  There is innocence in childhood that needs to be preserved.  Portraits of children are my specialty.  Puppies are fun, too.  I work mostly from pictures and measurements.  I need about two sittings and no, children are not expected to hold still.  Call for appointment or email for information.
