Gregory Beck attended the University of Texas at Arlington – Major in Art & Film Making. His early art career included illustration, production & Art Direction for national publications and later founded a 3D computer company producing animation for television, film, medical and technical applications. Returning to fine art, Beck focused on figurative sculpture. Beck’s work has received numerous awards in juried exhibitions from regional to international. His sculptures were featured in the national television syndication “The Art of the Living Gallery” and in national magazines. Beck’s paintings, sketches and sculpture are represented by fine art galleries in the U.S. and Canada and are held in private and corporate collections. Sculpture sizes range from 12” to monumental. Commissions include portraits in bronze and paintings, corporate award sculptures and public art. |

Gregory Beck Figurative Sculpture Workshop
Gregory Beck will be conducting Figurative Sculpture Workshops at the Pamela Lindley Art Studio, Fort Worth, Texas. The upcoming summer series of workshops, June - September, will be a hands-on class instruction in an upbeat-relaxed studio atmosphere, allowing emphasis on individual attention. Workshop will be offered as 3-day and 5-day sessions for beginners and intermediate levels. Sculpture stands, armature, materials, clay and a live model will be provided.
The workshops will be limited in size and every effort will be made to coordinate sculptors with similar levels of experience. The workshops will be suited for intermediate sculptors with some figurative experience, who are looking to increase their skills, practical knowledge and level of confidence. The workshops will place emphasis on composition, balance and design, and focus on the creative concept.
