Mallard - Commission Work

Diana Chase has been experimenting with glass for over 20 years following a career as an art director and graphic designer at Neiman Marcus and Bloom Advertising.

She uses casting, fusing and metal to create one of a kind three dimensional work that is inspired by nature and her relationship with others.

Crimson Tide

The mallard landing on water is a recent commission using fused and slumped glass supported on a steel base. She employs a unique method of adhering fused glass tiles to large areas which allows unique architectural possibilities.
