Andrea Davis

I was a military spouse for 20 years and I have lived and traveled all over the world, spending nearly seven years in Southeast Asia.  That nomadic lifestyle has allowed me to follow my passions to explore sugar art, various fiber arts, folk art painting, Asian paper arts and sculpture.   

As a lifelong nature lover and an environmentalist for the last 10 years, my art has followed a logical progression towards using the aluminum cans and cardboard that I prefer as my primary sculpting materials today.  In my eyes, what many so often see as trash is in fact treasure just waiting for  a touch of inspiration.  I love how these “throw-away” resources can be transformed into something beautiful, useful and meaningful.
