With all my work, "It is all about the stone, and only about the stone."

I work in Carrera marble, Italian translucent alabaster and currently in Patagonian blue onyx. I especially like translucent stone and use light to give motion to the stone, as in a large current alabaster work which is nearing completion.

With "Family", there is a mother and father looking toward each other and a male child looking outward to the world.

I am very much a newbie and take classes at the Creative Arts Center in Dallas where Art Wells is my instructor.

I have visited Italy many times, especially in the Carrera and Pietrasanta areas in addition to the traditional Italian art sites.
