Stephen Potter, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 40 years, found that therapy for himself consisted of learning to create metal, stone, clay or glass sculpture.

Genome

Enrolling in his first metal sculpture/welding class at the Creative Arts Center in Dallas nearly 10 years ago with Art Shirer, he has since taken additional metal sculpture classes from Art Shirer, Dan Sellars, and Ian Eisenmann at Brookhaven Community College. He has also studied clay sculpture with Debbie Ballard, stone sculpture with Carolann Haggard, and in 2010 began adding fused glass to his sculptures, having taken classes with Nan Phillips.
