ARTIST STATEMENT:

"As with life, in carving stone it's not what you take away but what you leave behind that counts."

Art...is an opportunity for a shared human experience. 

That art even exists is a reflection of society's respect for the exercise of abstract thinking and is a celebration of the playful, universal and historical appeal of "all things beautiful".  

 
 

EDUCATION:
-Native Austinite born in East Austin and educated in AISD public schools
-BFA University or Texas at Austin.      
-Austin Museum of Art -Studied stone carving with Ricardo Puemape and Scott Sustek in Austin and with Myles Schachter at Myles Mountain in Kansas
