Like a lot of artists, Cody has been creating almost as long as he’s had the ability to pick up a pencil or paint brush. With the exception of stone sculpture, which he began in 2008, Cody is mostly self-taught and learns by watching others. He has a tireless creative hunger and a strong work ethic. This creative energy has served him well in his personal life as well as professional. |

During the latter part of his 24 year career in the US Air Force Cody was honored as the Department of Defense Military Graphic Artist of the Year for 2007, 2008 and 2009. |

Cody is a member of the Air Force Art Program, Texas Sculpture Association and is the Vice-President of the Board of Directors for Inspire Fine Art Community Center a non-profit organization in San Antonio. |
