The 2005 Texas Sculpture Association show at Addison Conference center
looks lovely. There are twenty-five pieces in a full range of styles.
Four large pieces are outside in the Sculpture Garden next to the Water
Tower Theater and the rest hug the walls of the Conference Center. We've
heard nothing but compliments on the quality and variety of work in this
show. First and third prizes went to works in metal with other prizes to
one with glass and the other with wood. The second prize is a hand
carved small piece covered with gold leaf. Two honorable mentions went
out to our group of artists as well. Vice President and show
chair, Valery Guignon and President Betsy Kinney had the honor of
handing out the prizes at the reception on Friday the 21st.
